MILITARY SPECIFICATION
WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM, AUTOMATIC
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Department of the Navy, and is available for
use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
This specification covers reciprocating pump water supply
1.1 Scope.
systems complete with tank and automatic controls.
The water supply system is of the following size,
1.2 Cl assification.
class, style, and type.
Size 5 - 500 gallons per hour (gph), minimum, at cut-in pressure.
Class B - 40 pounds per square inch (psi) cut-in; 60 psi cut-out
pressure.
Style I - Reciprocating pump.
Type a
- 25 foot suction lift.
